Nuggets vs Heat

Another game, another night of history for Nikola Jokic.

The superstar center was unstoppable in Game 3, recording the first 30-point, 20-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in NBA Finals history to lead the Nuggets to a 109-94 victory over the Heat.

Jokic finished with 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists, controlling the entire game to allow Denver to retain home-court advantage and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

And he didn't make history alone. Jokic and Jamal Murray became the first teammates in NBA Finals history to record a triple-double in the same game, as Murray finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Heat had a spirited comeback late, trimming the Nuggets' lead to as slim as nine points in the final two minutes, but the effort only made the final score appear closer than it was.

The Heat got 28 points from Jimmy Butler and 22 points and 17 rebounds from Bam Adebayo, but the duo didn't get enough from its supporting cast to come away with a win.

Jamal Murray already has more points than he did in Game 2, catching fire with 20 points and three 3s in the first half. He and Nikola Jokic have dominated the first half, as the superstar big is flirting with a triple-double of 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Bam Adebayo is bringing the energy for the Heat with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jimmy Butler had one hot stint at the end of the first quarter and has 14 points on the night, but Miami is going to need more from its star.

The Heat are shooting just 39.1 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from 3.
