INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indy Fuel announced today that goalie and Adrian College Alumnus, Cam Gray '22, has signed a PTO with the Rockford IceHogs, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. This will be Gray's first-ever call-up to the AHL, and fourth for the Adrian Bulldogs NCAA hockey program (Dillon Kelley, Tyler Parks, and Mathew Thompson).

Gray was a member of the Adrian College Bulldogs for three seasons from 2019-22 and led the Bulldogs to the program's first National Championship in 2022. In three seasons with Adrian, Gray posted a 53-9-2 record, including an undefeated season in 2021-22, going 23-0-0 with a .913 save percentage and 2.23 GAA.

Gray earned himself a professional contract with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL after his time with Adrian had concluded. Since then, Gray has played for the Indy Fuel (ECHL) and Macon Mayhem (SPHL) as well.

So far in his Fuel career dating back to last season, the 6-foot, 175-pound goaltender has played 16 games with the Indy Fuel, recording a record of 9-5-1. Gray will join the AHL's IceHogs this week.
