Eurovision 2024: The grand final running order and how to watch

Eurovision 2024

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has now released the Eurovision 2024 grand final schedule for Saturday’s show, after two thrilling semi-finals.

It was previously announced that Sweden would open the competition, and it has now been confirmed that Ukraine will follow second, with Austria having the honour of being the closing show.

Latvia, The Netherlands, Norway, Israel, Greece, Estonia, Switzerland, Georgia and Armenia are a few of the countries who have made it to the Eurovision Final.

There are two steps involved in determining the Eurovision running order. First, the finalists select at random from a pot whether they will play in the first or second half, or if they will have a producer's choice, which is a new option that allows the organisers to choose any act to play in the grand final. The acts are then arranged by the producers with two primary goals in mind: (1) contestants who gave an engaging performance; and (2) practical considerations (such as the time required to assemble and disassemble different stage objects).

But what is the final running order and how can you watch at home?
