Sally A. Herrick, 84, of Watertown
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Sally A. Herrick, 84, of Watertown, died early Saturday morning at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been admitted March 21. Sally was born on July 22, 1939 in Adams, the daughter of Clyde and Pauline (Smith) Bacon.
She was a graduate of Bellville High School, with a marriage to Claude Herrick ending in divorce. She was employed at Northland Electric, Watertown, retiring as an inspector after 32 years. Sally enjoyed walking, shopping, driving, visiting friends, rummage sales, motorcycles, and the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band
She is survived by her 5 children, Connie Herrick, Watertown, C. Edward “Eddie” and his wife Betsy Herrick, Watertown, Michael Herrick, Chaumont, Robin Herrick, Texas, and Gordon “Manny” Therrien and his wife Kristin, Adams Center; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ronald Bacon and his wife Lori, Henderson and Robert Bacon and his wife Scotti, Adams Center; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by 5 sisters, Bonnie Place, Mary Lou “Bob” Hough, Sherry Kenyon, Lee Blair, and Donna “Tootie” VanBrocklin.
