Media Stable welcomes Sally Marshall as Media Engagement Associate

Media Stable has recruited Sally Marshall as a Media Engagement Associate for the Perth office.

Marshall who is currently an Edith Cowan University student doing her Diploma of Broadcasting has already a wealth of media experience for someone her age. A Trade Marketing Executive with Seven West Media for sixteen months and a digital creator at Red Lips Media.

The Course Coordinator and senior lecturer of the Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting Andrea Burns recommended the motivated and enthusiastic student to John Solvander the Director of Media Engagement at Media Stable. The current role is casual with the intention for it to grow into a part time role in coming months.

Media Stable was looking for a bright and driven content creator that had a good understanding of both traditional and new media. Marshall demonstrated from the beginning that she was across all elements of communication and marketing with that current and youthful edge.

The role was created with the increased demand from Media Stable clients for support and help in the digital media space. Marshall has been instrumental recreating and driving the Media Stable presence on Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.

The casual role supports Marshall in her University studies with a paycheck to match. “We don’t believe in interns at Media Stable they need to be paid employees with a role, a direction, a purpose and accountability,” said John Solvander.

Media Stable for eight years has been supplying experts and content for the students to work with as they hone their skills as a producer, journalist, or presenter.
