These days, Formula 1 is everywhere, even at the 2023 Oscars. They had representatives at the ceremony, as former Ferrari and FIA boss Jean Todt attended the ceremony along with his partner Michelle Yeoh.

On Sunday, the latter became the first woman of Asian heritage to win the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'.

Competing with Ana de Armas and Cate Blanchett

Yeoh, who competed with Ana de Armas ('Blonde'), Cate Blanchett ('Tar'), Michelle Williams ('The Fabelmans') and Andrea Riseborough ('To Leslie') for the Best Actress prize, celebrated her success by posing with Todt, whose relationship began in 2004.

"Moment of pure grace and immense happiness!" Todt wrote on Twitter, where his post picture with the actress.

"What a journey! So proud of Michelle, who received the Oscar Academy Award of the best actress."

Who is Jean Todt?

Jean Todt was Ferrari team principal from 1993 to 2007, as well as holding other roles with the Italian team.

He then became FIA president in 2009, with that presidency ending in 2021. Nowadays, he is the Special Envoy for Road Safety to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Meanwhile, the 77-year-old's son Nicholas is the agent of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.

Todt also maintains a close relationship with Michael Schumacher's family, after the F1 legend's serious skiing accident nine years ago.
