HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It’s still a couple of months away, but preparations for graduation are already underway.

The state Department of Education has announced high school commencement ceremony schedules for the class of 2024.

The first day of graduation ceremonies will be May 18, starting with Farrington High School at the Stan Sheriff Center and Castle High at the Blaisdell Arena.

Officials said schools will be sharing logistical details with parents and guardians.

The Education Department said it will update it’s list as needed.

DOE advises families to contact their child’s school directly with any specific questions related to commencement ceremonies.
