Also taking place last night was an entertaining 3-3 draw between two of the favourites to win the competition, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
In a see-saw game, Bernardo Silva put City ahead before two goals in three minutes via a Ruben Dias own goal and Rodrygo saw Real ahead.
City's Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol scored brilliant finishes to give Pep Guardiola's men the lead, but Federico Valverde's wonderful volley saw the sides finish the game level.
