Celine Dion recently sat down with Hoda Kotb to discuss how she’s doing as she deals with Stiff Person’s Syndrome, which has derailed her singing career. The illness has forced her to stop performing, at least for the time being…but the superstar is speaking up and doing her best to be brave for her family and her fans.

As she shares where her life is now and promotes her upcoming documentary I Am: Celine Dion, which is out later this month on Amazon Prime Video, the singer is also back on the charts. Dion collects not just a new hit this week, but manages to do so on a Billboard ranking she’s never reached before.

Dion is credited on a new tune titled “Set My Heart On Fire (I'm Alive x And The Beat Goes On),” which has been growing in popularity in the past few weeks. The singer joins fellow musicians Majestic and The Jammin Kid on the song, which is slowly reaching audiences in the U.S.

This week, “Set My Heart On Fire” debuts on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. The tune opens in last place, at No. 50, on Billboard’s ranking of the most-consumed tunes that can be classified as either of those genres.

“Set My Heart On Fire” marks Dion’s first hit on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs tally. While she’s scored other wins in the dance and electronic spaces before—largely thanks to remixes—she was never known for her dancefloor fillers. That’s changing in 2024, as she unexpectedly returns to the charts.

As “Set My Heart On Fire” reaches the main dance songs tally in the U.S., it also reappears on another, related roster. The single blasts back onto the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart at No. 13 this week. Dion’s cut has previously spent just one frame on the list, as it recently opened at No. 5.

“Set My Heart On Fire” is not a brand new production by Dion. Instead, her vocals from a past recording were used by the fellow credited artists to create something exciting and fresh. The tune is essentially a mashup with additional music added, but it’s marketed as a standalone tune, and thus it’s eligible to chart…and give all involved another win.
