Late goals helped defending champions Wellington Olympic to a season-opening win at Napier City Rovers in the Central League on Easter Sunday.
In the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League, promoted Fencibles United continued their excellent start to the competition with another win and a second clean sheet.
Meanwhile, the Wellington Phoenix continued to lead the men’s A-League table, beating Brisbane Roar 1-0 in front of more than 8,000 fans at Sky Stadium.
