'What the hell is this?!' rage Coronation Street fans as they spot ...

CORONATION Street fans have been left baffled and disgusted after spotting a strange dish at Harry Platt’s eighth birthday party. 

Viewers watched as the villagers came out to celebrate Sarah Platt played by Tina O'Brien and deceased bad boy Callum Logan played by Sean Ward son’s special day.

During the episode, Sarah organised a birthday party for her son Harry played by Freddie Rhodes.

As the scenes unfolded fans took to social media after they spot a unidentified dish which they dubbed a "sad attempt at bread and butter pudding.”

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) one user took a screenshot of the colourful bowl at the party and captioned it: “Err, what the hell is this? Poor kid!”

Replying to the Tweet, another viewer said: “Looks like some sad attempt at bread and butter pudding.”

“It looks like a can of mixed fruit dumped into orange juice,” wrote a third user. 

Corrie fans also called out a confusing age blunder as bosses 'rewound time' regarding Harry's age as he celebrated his birthday. 

Sarah’s partner Damon Hay was keen to impress the little boy, especially as he wasn't going to be able to make his party the next day.

Damon brought Harry a birthday cake a day early to enjoy, but  viewers were confused by the number eight candle that was on the top.

Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: "He was born on March 21st 2016 so in theory that birthday party yesterday should have been his 8th.

"According to the Corrie Wiki the twins playing him have done so since 2017, so maybe they actually are around that age, I know some 8 year olds are small.

"But in the show he acts about 4 or 5 years old at most and everyone treats him like he’s about that age as well (which ofc is on the writers/directors, not the actors).

"What do we think the plan is here? Are they retconning his age to make him younger? Are we just supposed to believe your average eight year old barely speaks in full sentences and gets that excited about balloons?"
