Stephen A. Smith is known for discussing sports, but this week, the ESPN personality made an exception when addressing the alleged affair between New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and an adult film star, suggesting a possible connection to his ongoing injuries.

During an episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show" on Wednesday, Smith brought up the claims made by Moriah Mills on social media, alleging a continued relationship with Williamson.

Mills made these accusations after Williamson and his girlfriend announced their pregnancy with a gender reveal video on Instagram earlier this week. "Now, it's my job to talk about the news, but I generally refrain from delving into people's personal lives like that. I focus on sports, news, current events, things like that. But I feel compelled to say this," Smith expressed.

"Are you ready for this? I must say I'm somewhat frustrated because all I can think about is, man, you only played in 29 games last year! And you missed the previous season! I've been wondering what's been causing the delay in your recovery. Well, now I know!"

Zion has missed many games

Williamson, the top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, has played only 114 games for the Pelicans over four seasons, missing the entire 2021-22 season due to a broken foot.

"You're young, unmarried, and you have the freedom to do what you want with whomever you choose. It's your business. It's a shame that she's exposing your private matters like this-you should cut ties with her. But there's a bigger issue at hand. I mean, she's a porn star. One might assume she's quite skilled at whatever she does. I've been waiting for your leg injury to heal, Zion. I've been waiting for quite a while," Smith continued. "When are you going to play?"

"What I'm trying to say is that we need those legs to be nimble. We need to see you bench pressing with your strong physique, lifting around 400 pounds. We need you running up and down that court. New Orleans needs you to be healthy," Smith concluded.
