Weather: Blanket of fog delays flights at Auckland Airport

There are flight delays and cancellations at Auckland Airport as fog blankets the area.
Eleven domestic regional flights have been delayed, as well as three main trunk domestic flights.
International flights have not been affected.
One flight from Napier has been cancelled.
The airport said passengers should check with their airline for the latest flight information.

Meanwhile, orange heavy rain warnings remain in place on Tuesday for Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Plenty, west of Kawerau.
A yellow heavy rain watch was in force for Bay of Plenty about and east of Kawerau and Gisborne north of Ruatoria, and Tasman District about and west of Motueka.
