- The Rabbitohs got on the board early when wing Izaac Tu’itupou Thompson danced around Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to score in the fifth minute.

- The lead didn’t last long, with Rocco Berry hitting back for the Warriors just three minutes later.

- While the Rabbitohs were struggling to hold onto the ball, the Warriors were testing their hosts at every opportunity and held an 18-4 lead at halftime.

- It was largely one-way traffic in the second half as the Warriors ran away with a 30-point win.
