Three top six teams are set to provide the One New Zealand Warriors with a testing run to the end of the Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) season.

They start the last phase of their campaign with Saturday’s 24th-round encounter with fifth-placed Manly-Warringah at 4 Pines Park in Sydney (11.00am kick-off local time; 1.00pm NZT).

That’s followed by second-placed Canterbury Bankstown in Auckland on August 24 and sixth-ranked Cronulla Sutherland at PointsBet Stadium on August 31.

The Warriors’ 22-10 win over South Sydney last Sunday was a timely boost after just one victory in their previous seven games.

Prop Toby Crosby produced a candidate for the competition’s try of the year with his charging rhino effort when he blasted 90 metres from a kick restart, producing a stunning fend to dismiss fullback Jack Field en route.

The result lifted the Warriors to 19 points level with the Rabbitohs but moving up a place to 12th on points for and against differential.

Once again their forward pack is built around Crosby and fellow starting prop Rodney Tuipulotu-Vea with Jaydee Auloa at hooker and Kayliss Fatialofa, Augustino Filipo and Etuate Fukofuka.
