Senior Expo Set to Rock the River's Edge Convention Center Saturday

(KNSI) – The Expo for Seniors is storming into the River’s Edge Convention Center Saturday.

This year’s theme is Rock the House, which includes a performance from Al!ve and K!ckin, a Twin Cities ensemble. They will bring down the house with gospel, Motown, pop, and rock and roll favorites.

The free event runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Vendors will be on hand talking about different programming available locally for those 55 years and older. The exhibit space is sold out, which means plenty of information is available for attendees. Health screenings and door prizes are also part of the experience.

Some of the prizes up for grabs include an e-bike, television, a series of pickleball lessons and a one-year membership to the Whitney Senior Center. To register, you must complete a survey. Drawings are done every hour and you have to be present to win.
