Lakeway police arrest the Grinch just in time for Christmas | KEYE

LAKEWAY, Texas — The Lakeway Police Department said the Grinch was arrested early Sunday morning, just in time for Christmas.

“The recent gifts he snuck away with on some area porches and unsecured vehicles the past few weeks have been returned to their owners,” the department said on Facebook.

A video posted by the department shows the Grinch prowling through the parking lot before being spotted by an officer on a motorcycle. The officer tackled him to the ground and placed him under arrest.

“We hope a day behind bars will help him learn his lesson,” the department said. “And apparently, it’s already working we understand his heart already grew three sizes.”
