The Grinch was arrested by Lakeway police in time to save Christmas
LAKEWAY, Texas — With just hours until Santa Claus arrives, The Lakeway Police Department was able to locate and arrest The Grinch.
The furry green suspect has been creating mischief around Lakeway for the past few weeks, but the police department was able to save Christmas for all those in Lakeway.
Looks like the mischievous individual was at it again last night - this time trying to steal holiday gifts from unsecured vehicles. We received some reports the individual may reside on or near Mt. Lakeway. If you spot the furry, green individual, be sure to DM us! pic.twitter.com/xJIqpx64dK
— Lakeway PD (@LakewayPD) December 15, 2023The department announced on Facebook that “The recent gifts he snuck away with on some area porches and unsecured vehicles the past few weeks have been returned to their owners.”
The department posted a video showing the Grinch in the parking lot, spotted by a motorcycle officer. The officer took him down and arrested him.
