It was life or death for a Centurion snake catcher when she was forced to jump into her own car and race to the hospital to save her own life after being bitten by a highly venomous black mamba in Diepsloot.
Within two minutes after arriving at the Netcare Unitas Hospital in Die Hoewes, Centurion, Hermien Grobler collapsed and stopped breathing.
It was a race against time, but doctors managed to revive her.
