Rakhmonov (18-0) looks to make the most of a missed opportunity as he goes from facing UFC weltewerweight champion Belal Muhammad to fellow undefeated fighter Ian Machado Garry (15-0). This matchup came together after Muhammad was forced to withdraw from the scheduled main event due to a bone infection in his foot.

In 18 pro bouts and six UFC appearances, Rakhmonov has finished all of his opponents. He submitted two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson at UFC 296 this past December, which followed tap-outs of Geoff Neal and Neil Magny.

Garry also holds wins over Neal and Magny, both by decision. He is 8-0 in his UFC career, most recently defeating former Bellator star Michael Page via majority decision at UFC 303 this past June.
