Rutland has embarked on a mammoth cycling journey, covering approximately 22,000km across New Zealand, South America, Mexico, the USA, and Europe, in order to reach his destination. This marks his fourth Race to Rugby World Cup, having previously completed a 16,500km cycle from Japan to New Zealand for RWC 2021.
