Several roads in the Chattanooga area are closed due to downed power lines and road hazards, according to the Chattanooga Division of Transportation.
"CFD and EPB crews are working throughout the city to restore service to roads and utilities," said a news release from Justin Strickland, public space coordinator. "Intermittent, unannounced closures may occur for the next couple of days in the hardest impacted areas. Public Works crews will continue removing trees and debris into this evening and tomorrow."
