Worcestershire road closures for Remembrance Day parades have been announced for this weekend(November 11 and 12). Motorists are being warned to avoid areas where there could be traffic delays while the community gathers to pay their respects.
All the road closures for towns across Worcestershire including Rubery to Malvern, Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Kidderminster, Wythall and Redditch are listed below.
Worcestershire County Council chairman, Councillor Kyle Daisley, will also host a short service at County Hall at 11am on Friday November 10 to honour the fallen and those in the armed forces who continue to protect the country.

Councillor Richard Morris, Chairman of the Worcestershire Armed Forces Partnership, said: “It is vitally important that the county can come together and take a moment to remember those who have lost their lives fighting for their country.”
The road closures by area in alphabetical order across Worcestershire are listed below.
All Worcestershire Remembrance Day weekend road closures Alvechurch Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Bear Hill will be closed from 10.15am to 12pm midday.
Astwood Bank Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Church Road, Astwood Bank, Redditch closed from 10am to 12pm midday.
Bewdley Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Load Street and High Street closures in Bewdley from 10.30am to 1pm
Droitwich Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12The parade starts at 10.40am along Ombersley Street East into Victoria Square, with road closures until the parade reaches there by 10.50am. Service in Victoria Square until 11.20am. Roads will be closed from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Eckington Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Cotheridge Lane from The Pippins Junction and Church Street will be closed. Roads will be re-opened as soon as parade progresses. Roads will be closed for two periods between 10.45am and 11am and then 12pm midday to 12.15pm.
Evesham Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Parade will gather and head out between 10am and 11am along High Street and Market Place, which will both be closed from 10.40am to 11am.
The High Street from Oat Street to Bridge Street and Bridge Street between its junction with High Street and its junction with Mill Streel will be closed. The return parade between 11.45am and 12.30pm will see Vine Street for its entire length and Market Place closed.

New Road, Oxford Street, Bridge Street, Vicar Street, and Lower Mill Street will have rolling closures from 10.30am to 10.50am and then from 12pm midday to 12.20pm.
Malvern Town Centre Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Roads closed at 9.30am ready for a parade at 10.30am from outside Great Malvern Post Office in Abbey Road, turning down onto Church Street, and then turning onto Graham Road into Great Malvern Library grounds via the pathway leading down to the library.
After the Wreath laying service has finished, the parade will reform and parade down Como Road to be dismissed in the car park on the right-hand side. Road closures will be for Church Street 9.30am to 10.45am); Graham Road from 9.30am to 11.30am and Como Road from 9.30am to 12pm midday.

Malvern Wells Remembrance Sunday Parade - Sunday November 12Hanley Road will be closed between 10.45am and 12.15pm.
Ombersley and Doverdale Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12A4133 Main Road closed from 10.30am to 11.30am. Road will be re-opened as soon as parade progresses.
Pershore Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12High Street, Broad Street, Church Walk and Church Row closed. Roads will be re-opened as soon as parade progresses. Roads will be closed for two periods between 10am and 11am and 12pm midday and 1pm.
Rubery Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Legion Road and New Road will be closed from 10am to 11.45am.
Stourport Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Mitton Street and Vale Road, Stourport On Severn, will have rolling closures between 10.30am and 1pm. Roads to be reopened as soon as parade passes.
Teme Street, Market Street, Church Street will be closed for a maximum of 10 minutes between 10.15am and 10.45 and 11.45am and 12.15pm. Roads will be re-opened as soon as parade progresses.
Upton-Upon-Severn Armistice Day - Saturday November 11Old Street and New Street will be closed from 10.55am to 11.10am.
Upton-Upon-Severn Remembrance Parade - Sunday November 12Parade New Street to Parade Church will be closed from 10.15am to 10.45am and Parade Church to the War Memorial, Lower High Street from 11.45am to 12pm midday. There will be wreath-laying at the War Memorial from 11.45am to 12.30pm.
Worcester Remembrance Day Civic Service - Saturday November 11High Street in Worcester city centre closed from its junction with Deansway to the Guildhall, Deansway, College Yard and College Street from 10.45am to 11.15am.
Road closures for the Remembrance Day parade include Queen Street, Pump Street, Broad Street, Friar Street, Bank Street and Copenhagen Street. Emergency access will be available at all times as usual.
Wythall Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday November 12Shawhurst Lane, Paddocks Road War Memorial and Alcester Road will be closed between 10am and 12pm midday. A traffic diversion will be in place from Houndsfield Road.
