According to the police, Om Prakash and his associates were importing cocaine from abroad for DJ parties. Although they had visited Kochi several times, the police were unable to apprehend them. On Sunday, during a raid based on a tip-off, Om Prakash and Shihas, a native of Kollam, were arrested. While eight liters of alcohol were seized from the accused, only a small quantity of drugs was found, which led to the cout granting bail.

Along with Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin, names of Baiju, Anoop, Don Louis, Arun, Aloysius, Sneha, Tipson, Sridevi, Roopa, and Pappi are mentioned in the police remand report as individuals who visited the accused at the hotel.
