The power is out for 2,354 customers in Rutland.

According to FortisBC, the power went out just before 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27. 

The affected area stretches from Highway 97, east to Latta Road, and Leathead Rd., north to Old Vernon Rd.

The outage is listed as a repair. FortisBC expected to have the power back on by 12:50 p.m.
