Sky Stadium is sold out for Saturday’s A-League semi-final showdown between the Wellington Phoenix and Melbourne Victory.
Match organisers say all New Zealand tickets for the 34,500-capacity stadium have been sold, and only a small number remain for supporters travelling from Australia.
The match will almost certainly set a new attendance record for the Phoenix, whose biggest previous crowd was 33,000 set in 2010.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have also confirmed Saturday’s other semi-final, between Central Coast Mariners and Sydney, will also pull a full-capacity crowd to the Mariners’ Industree Group Stadium in Gosford.
