The 2024 PGA Championship enters Moving Day with a few golfers in the field set to play more than 18 holes after second-round action was postponed due to darkness. Once Round 3 at Valhalla Golf Club begins around 9 a.m. ET, it will be Xander Schauffele nursing a one-shot lead on Collin Morikawa with Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau both three shots back looking to push their way up the leaderboard.
Schauffele's 12 under mark through 36 holes tied for the lowest in PGA Championship history, and the Olympic gold medalist will now have an opportunity to get off the major schnide by claiming the Wanamaker Trophy if he can keep his game up over the latter half of the tournament. There are actually 21 golfers within striking distance of Schauffele as Brooks Koepka (five back), Justin Thomas (six) and Rory McIlroy (seven) serve as most notable pursuers.
