has publicly expressed his
support
for Malayalam star Nivin Pauly, who is currently facing serious
sexual assault allegations
. A rape case was filed on Tuesday (September 3) against Nivin Pauly by a woman alleging that he sexually abused her at a Dubai hotel last year, following a promise of a film role. Nivin Pauly has vehemently denied these allegations, asserting that they are "entirely untrue."
In the wake of these claims, Bala took to his official Facebook handle to commend Nivin Pauly for his transparency and bravery.
Bala praised Nivin for confronting the media and addressing the allegations head-on, rather than avoiding the situation. He emphasized that Nivin’s forthrightness has reinforced the public’s confidence in him. “We should all respect him for that. Nivin mentioned that he feels alone in this fight, but I want to emphasize that we're all standing with him,” Bala stated.

Bala also highlighted the importance of understanding legal processes before filing such cases. “Before filing a case, one must understand the law. If the woman’s complaint is found to be baseless, she must be prepared to face the consequences,” Bala noted.
Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly himself addressed the accusations via Instagram, where he described the allegations as “entirely untrue.” He vowed to take all necessary legal actions to prove his innocence and to bring those responsible for spreading false information to light. “I have come across a false news report accusing me of abusing a girl. Please know that this is entirely untrue. I’m determined to go to any extent to prove these allegations are baseless and will take all necessary steps to bring those responsible to light,” Nivin Pauly wrote in his post.
