Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville has landed his next lead movie role in crime comedy Go Away!
Written and directed by Ed Kear and Cringo Williamson, the thriller follows a lodger whose life is dramatically changed when an accident threatens to ruin his drug business (via The Hollywood Reporter).
This Is England's Michael Socha and Bridgerton's Ella Bruccoleri will join Bonneville in lead roles, with production now underway in Hertfordshire.

"Go Away! follows the deadbeat lodger Kyle Burden, played by Socha, as his life is turned upside down when an accident with a bailiff on the same day his landlord has viewings with potential home buyers threatens to derail his pot-growing business," reads the official logline for the film.
The movie's ensemble cast is rounded out by The Tuckers star Steve Speirs, Doctor Who's Jo Martin, Boarders actor Niky Wardley, Fleabag's Jeff Mirza and Coronation Street's Chris Gascoyne.
Upon the film's announcement, Kear and Williamson shared their excitement in a joint statement, saying: "We had a fantastic time developing this project and are incredibly excited to see it come to life with such a fantastic cast and crew.

Bonneville will next be seen on screen in new ITV drama Douglas is Cancelled, alongside Guardians of the Galaxy actor Karen Gillan.
The four-part series, which comes from former Doctor Who boss Steven Moffat, focuses on news presenter Douglas and the fallout of a tweet that accuses him of telling "an extremely sexist joke at a wedding".

It's been a busy year for Bonneville, who is also set to reprise his role of Robert Crawley in Downton Abbey's upcoming third film.
The latest spin-off of the acclaimed TV series is set to arrive in cinemas on September 12, 2025.
With filming now underway, the actor recently spoke to Yahoo! to tease the developments of his character, saying: "Robert [is] finally accepting that things [are changing] — it's time to move the story on, so to speak."
He added: "I think there's so much warmth and fun to enjoy, and new elements as well – which I won't spoil – that I think it'll certainly be the best iteration of the film versions yet."
Go Away! doesn't have a release date yet. Downton Abbey 3 is set for release in the UK and US on September 12, 2025. The TV series can be streamed on ITVX.
