RAPTORS ANNOUNCE NBA SUMMER LEAGUE 2023 ROSTER
The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday their 16-man roster for NBA Summer League 2023 in Las Vegas. Current Raptors Ron Harper Jr. and Joe Wieskamp, along with 2023 first round draft pick Gradey Dick, headline this year’s squad. Raptors assistant coach Pat Delany will be the team’s head coach for the tournament with Mike Batiste, Rashaun Broadus, Vin Bhavnani, Drew Jones, Eric Khoury, Noah Lewis, Jama Mahlalela, Karim Nesba, Jim Sann, Ivo Simović, and James Wade serving as his assistant coaches.
Christian Koloko and Jeff Dowtin Jr. will not participate in NBA Summer League. Koloko is managing a respiratory condition, and Dowtin Jr. underwent surgery in May to remove loose bodies from his right ankle. Both will be in Las Vegas for team activities, but will not play in any games. Their conditions will continue to be monitored and their progress will be updated as appropriate.
Toronto will open play Friday, July 7 against the Chicago Bulls at Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET).
