Money In The Bank 2024

WWE Money in the Bank 2024

was a roller coaster ride of the highest order as superstars went all lengths against each other in Toronto. Five exciting matches were scheduled, including grudge matches and title fights. After three hours, all the contestants lived up to their billing, even if some of the results went along unexpected lines.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match 1: Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre (Men's MITB ladder match)

Not much goes wrong when six top-rated wrestlers go head-to-head against each other, trying to grab the elusive briefcase.

The opening contest saw six contenders doing their best to stand tall at all costs.

Drew McIntyre

might have been the last to enter, but he left the ring in all smiles.

While Hayes and Andrade went hard at each other, Jey Uso seemed like the emerging champion, only to be hit by a ladder. What followed was Drew landing a Claymore to finish the task at hand and grab the briefcase.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match 2: Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker (Intercontinental Championship)

Bron Breakker’s rise has been phenomenal, but he’s not there yet. In the title match,

Sami Zayn

showed his experience to outwit the upcoming start and retain his Intercontinental Championship belt. But here’s what the Canadian wrestler had to survive from his challenger - a vicious Spear, a Frankensteiner, a flying Clothesline onto the table, and a Gorilla Press Slam.

Earlier in the match, Sami almost won the game with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but he had to execute a finely-timed Helluva Kick to defeat Breakker.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match 3: Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins (World Heavyweight Championship)

This one was a surprising match, as many had predicted a change of hands on the World Heavyweight Championship. Contrary to expectations, Damian Priest managed to defend his title while sticking true to the agreement he had with Seth. What made the match more interesting was McIntyre’s involvement.
The writing was on the wall that McIntyre would likely cash in his MITB contract for a shot at the title, and so he did. He would have been successful had it not been for CM Punk’s involvement. While many expected Punk to interfere in the Money in the Bank contest, he chose an even better moment to have his say.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match 4: Chelsea Green vs. Iyo Sky vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Zoey Stark (Women's MITB ladder match)

The women’s MITB ladder match was one hell of a contest, and every challenger looked like they could win. Not many would have given chances to Naomi or Chelsea Green to challenge for the ultimate prize.
The match swung to and fro and had plenty of thrills and chills. All six challengers actively used the ladders to fly onto their opponents, with the highlight being Tiffany Stratton’s Swanton Bomb on four opponents.
As Ivo Sky decided to take care of Zoey Stark, Chelsea decided to take advantage of the contract to secure it. However, Stratton used her brains and pushed Chelsea’s ladder to throw her off and win the coveted contract.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match 5: The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton

At one moment, it looked like The Bloodline 2.0’s reign might be over before it all started. After dominating in the early parts of the match, the momentum switched when Kevin Owens managed to tag in Cody Rhodes. Prior to this moment, both Owens and Orton have been at the receiving end of some strong blows.
Cody completely changed the momentum of the match, and he, Orton, and Owens managed to land their respective finishers before sending Fatu through the announce table. However, it was the same Fatu who knocked out Rhodes, allowing Sikoa to land a Samoan Spike and pin him down for victory.
