The field of 18 teams for the 2024 MLS Cup playoffs is locked in after Decision Day on Saturday closed out the regular season.

In the Western Conference, the No. 9 seed Portland Timbers will play host to the No. 8 Vancouver Whitecaps in a wild card game at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (MLS Season Pass on Apple TV). The Timbers are hosting the match despite being the ninth seed because Vancouver’s stadium, BC Place, already is booked for an event.
