Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly split after actress found her ...
She “found text messages involving other women and decided she was done” with dating the musician.
The source claimed the Subservience actress “had trust issues” throughout her relationship with MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, which stemmed from his “past behaviour”.
Fox looked for the positives in their relationship despite having their fair share of highs and lows throughout it, the insider said. They claimed she wanted to “rebuild her trust with Colson and was excited to grow their family together”.
However, the alleged discovery of MGK’s sneaky behaviour has been a wake-up call for the Transformers actress, and the insider told Page Six that she’s an “independent woman” who is fine on her own.
It’s understood the celebrity couple broke up just two weeks after the actress revealed they were expecting their first child together.
On November 11, the Jennifer’s Body actress posted a stylised shot on Instagram, with a second black-and-white snap showing a positive pregnancy test with the word “Yes” clearly displayed.
“Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” Fox captioned the post, which has since been removed from her Instagram.
MGK also commented on the news, taking to X to tell followers that he would be “isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch”.
“When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. Don’t worry. After all, I’m about to be a dad again!”
Fox already has three children from her previous marriage to Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8.
Fox and Green split in May 2020 after a tumultuous marriage that spanned nearly 10 years.
Meanwhile, MGK has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, who he shares with his former girlfriend Emma Cannon.
Fox and MGK worked on the crime thriller film Midnight in the Switchgrass together that year and coupled up soon after.
The now-former couple became engaged in January 2022 and claimed they celebrated the milestone by “drinking each other’s blood”.
The two had previously suffered a miscarriage, an experience Fox wrote candidly about last year in her poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
“I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh, but now / I have to say / goodbye,” she wrote, adding elsewhere in the book: “I will pay any price. Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”
Speaking on Good Morning America at the time, Fox revealed she had “never been through anything like that before”.
“It was very difficult for both of us,” she explained. “And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?’”
