Mount returns from injury against Twente

Mason Mount returned from injury during Manchester United’s Europa League match with FC Twente on Wednesday night.
The appearance of our England international was an encouraging note from an otherwise frustrating evening, after the Reds led our Dutch visitors but drew 1-1.
Mount was named on the bench for the second successive match after he was unused at Crystal Palace last weekend.
He entered the action after 79 minutes to make his first appearance since suffering an injury against Brighton & Hove Albion in August.
The hard-working no.7 was typically industrious and looked sharp as United searched in vain for a winning goal in the European opener.
While the result was ultimately disappointing, the return of Mount is a definite positive and a boost with plenty of fixtures across all competitions coming up.
The manager was also able to hand Rasmus Hojlund some more minutes, after the Denmark international returned from injury at Palace last weekend.
Next up is a Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Sunday, followed by a much-anticipated trip to FC Porto in the Europa League.
Our final fixture before the October international break is away to Aston Villa.
