FM appoints Laurel Rudnick and Danielle Harrison to key ...

FM, a commercial property insurer, has announced the appointment of Laurel Rudnick and Danielle Harrison to key leadership positions.
Effective January 1, 2025, Rudnick will take on the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, while Harrison will assume the position of Senior Vice President and Division Manager for FM Affiliated, the company’s middle-market insurance division.
In her new role, Rudnick will oversee FM’s underwriting and reinsurance operations, reporting directly to Lyndon Broad, who was recently appointed Executive Vice President of Staff Insurance Operations at FM.
Rudnick most recently served as Senior Vice President and Division Manager for FM Affiliated.
Rudnick’s journey with FM began in 2006 when she joined as a field engineer in the Los Angeles office. Over the years, she has held various positions, including Account Engineer, Account Manager, Group Manager of Account Engineering, and Assistant Client Service Manager.
In 2018, she relocated to FM’s New York office, where she served as Client Service Manager and later as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Rudnick holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from California State University, Northridge.

In her new role as Division Manager for FM Affiliated, Harrison will lead a global operation that offers specialised underwriting and property loss control engineering services through a curated network of international broker partners. She will report to Ziad Alex S. Tadmoury, Executive Vice President for EMEA, Asia Pacific, Canada, Specialty Industries, and FM Affiliated.
Harrison began her career at FM in 2001 as an underwriter and has since held several client service positions. Her roles have included Account Manager, Assistant Client Service Manager, Area Manager for FM Affiliated, Branch Client Service Manager, and most recently, Senior Vice President of Operations for Washington, D.C.
Harrison holds a bachelor’s degree in Insurance from The Pennsylvania State University.
