Javi Munoz's influence over this game has receded of late but he shows he's still dangerous on the counter by freeing Cardona, who unfortunately can't beat Balde. But they'll get another chance as Pejino's threatening shot deflects off Araujo for a corner.

The energetic 16-year-old could provide the spark to break this game, in place of a frustrated Raphinha who's put in a good shift today despite few opportunities.

Robert Lewandowski's been wholly ineffective - nay, rubbish for Barcelona and now Joao Felix will get a go.

Xavi's getting ready with some substitutes of his own, but for now the final member of Las Palmas' starting front three trudges off.

Sandro did look knackered as his shift continued, but don't let that overshadow a superb game by the winger.

It looks like a winner is coming for Barcelona. The hosts were superb in the first half but Barca have shifted up a gear at half-time and are virtually encamped on the edge of the area.

Barcelona are threatening here. Ferran Torres is starting to motor here, he breaks through but Saul Coco is back to scramble his square ball to safety before Lewandowski could pounce.

Munir took a knock seemingly to his ankle, though Garcia Pimienta looked to be preparing this swap beforehand anyway.

GOAL! LAS PALMAS 1-1 BARCELONA (TORRES)

Barcelona have better this half and their effort is finally rewarded. There's more than a hint of luck about it, a Las Palmas clearance hit Lewandowski in the head and fell to Sergi Roberto in the penalty area, who shuffled in to Ferran Torres and the forward produced a smart finish past Valles who had played well tonight and still got a hand to it.

BARCA STILL HUFF AND PUFF

Raphinha loosed a powerful shot that Valles did well to get down and block, but it's all for nought, because Barcelona have been caught offside. Again. Specifically Sergi Roberto. Again.

Marmol was slapped by Lewandowski at the corner, the seemingly accidentally, after he was tackled to the ground at a corner in the first half too.

That set-piece came about when Balde timed his run perfectly but couldn't control the ball properly which prevented him getting a dangerous shot off.

2nd Half

And after that's been fixed, we have now kicked off with Barcelona taking control of the ball.

Sergi Roberto continued remonstrating with the referee as they walked down the tunnel at halftime - to the jeers of the home fans, and with both sets of players back out and ready to get going again there's a problem with the net.

There are several breakages at the base of Las Palmas' net and some ground staff hurriedly fasten some zip ties before we get back underway.

The stats bear out the hosts' dominance too:

HALF-TIME: LAS PALMAS 1-0 BARCELONA

And another non-threatening Barcelona set-piece brings the half to an end. Star man Sandro was caught by Ferran Torres and is still feeling his right ankle has he walks off, but he can be very proud of that effort as can all his Las Palmas teammates. Barcelona need to change things, and quickly or they won't just lose this game, they'll lose by two or three.

That Cancelo injury means there's four minutes of injury time before Xavi gets the hairdryer out in the dressing room...

Ferran Torres just managed to be caught offside from a corner...Which really sums up Barcelona's half!

End of 1st Half

Sandro has been the star player from either side tonight and he's at it again from the set piece, he takes the ball on the edge of the area and fires an arcing shot that just flies past a beaten Pena's left-hand post. That was inches away from greatness...
