No matter, how you spell it, there’s just something about the sweet round treat with a hole in the center than makes life better.

National Donut Day takes place on June 2 and there are all sorts of deals to help you celebrate.

The first Friday in June has been celebrated as National Donut Day since 1938 when it was established by the Salvation Army as a way to honor the organization’s Donut Lassies, women who traveled to France to serve donuts and snacks to soldiers during World War I.

Dunkin’

Participating Dunkin’ locations are giving out a free classic donut when you purchase a beverage on June 2.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme has a couple of deals for Donut Day.

You can get any donut free on June 2 in stores. Krispy Kreme is also offering $2 Original Glazed Dozen when you pre-order with code BOGO2.

The giveaway includes four limited-edition flavors: Banana Pudding, Strawberries and Kreme, Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Kreme Pie.

Shipley’s Donuts

Shipley’s Donuts is offering one free glazed donut with any purchase online with the code Donutday23 or in-store from 5 a.m.-noon while supplies last.

Taco Bell

Purchase at least $20 worth of Taco Bell from  DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates or Grubhub on June 2 and  get an order of Cinnabon Delights for free.
