During a recent stand-up performance of his at the Wang Theatre in Boston on Saturday (via Variety), a member of the crowd asked about Seinfeld and its controversial ending. In response to this query, the comedian stated that he had a little secret about the ending of the show that would be revealed in the future. This statement heavily points out the possibility of a revival of the show or a special episode that can continue where the show left off. This is not entirely off the table as he had talked about this with Ellen DeGeneres on her show in the past. On Saturday, he said:

“Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet. Just what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So, you’ll see.”

Seeing the end was polarizing, to say the least, when the crew is locked up behind bars, it left a gap in the hearts of people who wanted a proper send-off for the show.
