Hundreds queue to see A-list actor in central Auckland

Hundreds turned out to see Hollywood star Jason Momoa in Auckland on Saturday for a meet-and-greet, with the line stretching around the block.

Fans were able to take a photo with the Aquaman A-lister and buy a signed bottle of his brand at the free event at Glengarry Wines in Central Auckland.

Attendees Gaylene and Shelley both had children with special needs and were seldom able to "get out and about."

"We're really happy to be here," said Gaylene.

The pair had been waiting in line for about an hour and a half.

"It's great to see Jason, he's pretty cool... and handsome," said Shelley.

Another attendee said she was a "big vodka fan" and was there to meet Momoa and try his vodka.

"He's a babe, obviously," she added.

Meili Vodka was co-founded by Jason Momoa and Blaine Halvorson last year.
