Happy Fathers' Day!

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Leftover showers clear, bringing a warm, mostly sunny Fathers’ Day.

As showers and clouds clear in the morning, more sunshine. Temps again range the 90s, with Lubbock around 95. Some breezy conditions continue today.

In the late afternoon a couple thunderstorms could begin to develop to the west, and track NE in the evening. Some marginal risk is possible, with hail up to an inch or gusty winds.

Strong winds Monday and Tuesday bring a little pre-frontal warming before a cold airmass pushes in sometime next week, though the timing is up in the air as the front is expected to stall. This means temps will drop along with an increase in rain and thunderstorm chances.
