Everyday Rewards has announced Air New Zealand Airpoints and Qantas Frequent Flyer as new partners.

Everyday Rewards New Zealand has revealed two much-requested partnerships that are taking flight with Everyday Rewards members. Starting on the 2nd of December 2024, members can convert their Everyday Rewards points to Airpoints Dollars or Qantas Points.

The new additions to the fast-growing programme mean that Everyday Rewards members can opt to convert their points into Airpoints Dollars or Qantas Points.

Everyday Rewards members can earn points just by shopping at Woolworths, BP, Petstock, MILKRUN, and Vineonline.

The director of Everyday Rewards New Zealand, Mark Burger, said research has shown that Kiwis love to fly, and Everyday Rewards was excited to partner with two world-class brands to help its members take to the air.

“We only launched back in February, and if there’s one thing we’ve heard from our members since, it’s that they want rewards that’ll help them book their next holiday or a trip to see loved ones," said Burger.

"We’re pleased to be delivering exactly that with our new partners - we think it’s going to be a game changer for our members."

Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran added that partnering with Everyday Rewards was a fantastic way to provide its members with even more opportunities to earn Airpoints Dollars.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to making travel more accessible and rewarding for Kiwi customers. We’re excited to introduce new ways for our members to grow their Airpoints Dollar balance when they spend," said Foran.

"With 4.7 million members already part of the Airpoints programme, partnering with Everyday Rewards means Kiwi customers can get en route to booking their dream getaway even faster.”

There are now over 1.8 million active Everyday Rewards members in New Zealand. Everyday Rewards members collect one point for every $1 spent with Woolworths, Petstock, MILKRUN and Vine online, with Boosts getting members to rewards even faster.

Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Officer Andrew Glance said the partnership is a welcome boost for the nearly one million Kiwis who are already Qantas Frequent Flyers.

“We know how much Kiwis love to travel, and this partnership is a game-changer for our members. Earning Qantas Points is now even easier, with shopping at the supermarket or filling up the car, making the next overseas holiday or weekend escape with Qantas or Jetstar even closer for Kiwis.”

Members who activate and redeem their Boosts get five times more rewards than those who scan their cards in-store. At BP, members earn 1 point for every litre of fuel, and NZD 1 is spent at the BP shop, Wild Bean Cafe, or on car washes.

Members can also earn points on an ASB rewards credit card by selecting Everyday Rewards as their reward preference.

From the 2nd of December 2024, when members reach 2000 Everyday Rewards points, they can choose to convert these to 15 Airpoints Dollars or 1500 Qantas Points or to be rewarded with a $15 Rewards voucher to redeem at Woolworths supermarkets, BP, or Petstock.
