Hailie Jade Scott, daughter of rapper Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) has a new biggest fan: She and Evan McClintock got married in an intimate ceremony over the weekend.

Jade, 28, shared her happy news in an Instagram post on Monday.

“Waking up a wife this week,” she wrote in a caption. “We couldn't have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt.”

Jade and McClintock began dating in 2016, and were engaged in February 2023. Their wedding celebration took place in Battle Creek, Michigan, some 120 miles west of Eminem's beloved home city of Detroit.

Jade co-hosts the Just a Little Shady pop culture podcast, but has kept her relationship with McClintock relatively private. She has also made lyrical cameos in more than 20 of her Grammy-winning father’s songs, including one called “Dear Hailie.” Eminem often rapped about his tumultuous relationship with Jade’s mother, Kim Scott, as well as his love for his young daughter. In 2002’s “Dear Hailie,” he rapped of his then-7-year-old daughter, “Man, if I could sing, I’d keep singin’ this song to my daughter / If I could hit the notes, I’d blow somethin’ as long as my father / To show her how I feel about her, how proud I am that I got ‘er.”

In photos published by TMZ, Eminem danced with his daughter at the reception, dressed in a classic black tuxedo and wearing black shades. According to the outlet, rap heavy hitters Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Jimmy Iovine were all guests at the wedding.
