Earthquake recorded in Vanua Levu, no tsunami threat

A 2.9 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in Vanua Levu tonight with a depth of 10km.
According to the Mineral Resources Department’s Seismology Section, the earthquake was recorded at about 73 km North West from Labasa, Vanua Levu.
They say the offshore earthquake does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.
