Sneak peek at new Derby city centre apartment block near Derbion
The first phase of a major new development project at the heart of Derby city centre is now completed, with 94 apartments on the market. Mulbery House on Liversage Street, has now reached completion and already 65% of the properties have now been sold.
This is only the first phase amid plans to build a total of 258 homes, offering a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments that will all be located on the tree-lined boulevard that links Derbion to the train station.
The apartments themselves have a modern interior with kitchen appliances all integrated, as well as stylist bathrooms kitted out and all floor coverings already included. As a celebration of the completion, the Birmingham-based Elevate Property group is offering first time buyers in the complex a 5% gifted deposit scheme worth up to £7,000.
The current prices for the apartments start from £140,000 and range to £265,000 with all the three bed-room apartments already sold out. David Hofton, sales and marketing director at Elevate Property Group, said: “The scheme has got off to a tremendous start and is proving popular with a range of local buyers including downsizers, those looking for a ‘lock up and leave’ property, and investors attracted by huge rental demand in the city.
"First time buyers are also clamouring to secure a home here with prices starting from an affordable £140,000.”
