The “Full House” cast will always be family.
John Stamos showed love to his “brother” Dave Coulier on Instagram Wednesday after Coulier, 65, announced that he’s been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.
Stamos, 61, posted a tribute with various photos of the pair over the years, as well as an emotional message to his longtime friend.
“My brother from day 1. Love you @dcoulier and I’ll be by your side through it all,” Stamos wrote in his caption.
Stamos and Coulier met playing Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey, respectively, on “Full House” which aired from 1987 to 1995.
The pictures shared by Stamos were a mix of old and new snapshots of the duo. In one sweet shot, Stamos wrapped his arms around Coulier as they laid in bed together.
In another photo, Stamos and Coulier posed with their late co-star Bob Saget, who died at age 65 in January 2022. Saget’s death was ruled an accident caused by blunt head trauma.
Coulier’s wife, Melissa Bring Coulier, responded to Stamos’ heartfelt post in the comments section.
“Love you PP – thank you for the daily support and love!! ❤️❤️,” she wrote.
Fans also reacted to Stamos sweetly highlighting his friendship with Coulier amid the latter star’s health battle.
“Such great photos. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you while ‘Joey’ heals,” one fan wrote.
Another said, “These relationships that start at work and end up being LIFE LONG friendships are extremely rare…and quite beautiful! Love the brotherhood between you guys.”
“He has a great support team and Bob watching over him! He’s got this,” a third fan said.
Coulier announced Wednesday that he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma five weeks ago.
“(I was) feeling like I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you. You always hear about it happening to someone else,” Coulier said in an interview with Today.
The actor confirmed that he started chemo two weeks into his diagnosis. He also revealed that he shaved his head as a “preemptive strike” amid his cancer battle.
Coulier opened up more about his diagnosis while wearing a hat on the “Full House Rewind” podcast.
“I started the podcast wearing a hat, and I said, I’ve always been a man of many hats, but this hat has special significance because a couple of weeks ago, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma,” he said in an interview with People.
“That was really a conscious decision of, I’m going to meet this head-on, and I want people to know it’s my life,” he continued. “I’m not going to try and hide anything. I would rather talk about it and open the discussion and inspire people.”
Coulier also confirmed to People that he told his “Full House” castmates — including Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber — about his diagnosis.
“I didn’t want them to hear it from someone else, so I sent a text message out,” he said, noting that he got an “immediate” response from everyone who showed him “overwhelming” support.
Two months before announced his diagnosis, Coulier exclusively told The Post that he’d love to do another “Full House” reunion project.
“I would love to do it. I’m the one kind of pushing the ball up the hill right now to do it,” he shared. “So I would love to reunite with everybody and do a little bit of a different show. Maybe kind of a flashback show where we are present day navigating our way through adulthood, and we flashback to episodes of the original show that gives us guidance.”
