British rock band Coldplay are set to be among the first performers to take the stage at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak stadium after it opens early next year.
The concerts will be the group’s first in the city since 2009, with tickets expected to be a hot commodity once sales launch next week.
The Post explains how you can secure a spot for one of the highly anticipated performances.
1. When and where will Coldplay perform?The band will perform three shows in Hong Kong on April 9, 11 and 12 at Kai Tak Sports Park’s main stadium, which has a capacity of up to 65,000 when the standing pitch area is used for concerts.
2. How can I get tickets?Ticket sales will be split into four stages.
A presale on the band’s website will begin at 10am on October 7.
Official partner travel platform Klook will be selling an “Experience Package” that includes tickets and one- or two-night hotel stays. These will be available for purchase for 24 hours from October 8 at 10am.
A presale for members of local promoter Live Nation will take place on October 9 from 11am to 11.59pm.
General sales will launch on October 10.
