All Whites forward Chris Wood says he’s ready to put his latest injury behind him after scoring a dramatic winner for Nottingham Forest in their latest English Premier League game.
Wood, who has taken more than four months to recover from a leg injury, came off the bench late in Forest’s game against Sheffield United to head the winner in the dying minutes to earn his side a 2-1 win.

“It’s just nice to get back on the pitch,” Wood told BBC Radio Nottingham.
“It’s been my first major injury in my career so it’s taken a lot to try to get over it, the mental side of it and that.
“It’s fantastic to be back playing again.”
Wood said he would now try to work his way back into the team, or push his teammates so they would deliver more.
As well as resuming his Premier League career, Wood is targeting a return to international duty when the All Whites play Australia’s Socceroos in London on Tuesday October 17.
