Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis

The Princess of Wales underwent planned abdominal surgery in January this year. Following this, Kate maintained quite a distance from the spotlight, which sparked a major concern, questioning her months-long absence.

On March 22, Kate dropped a shocking health update, sharing that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Putting an end to all speculations, Princess revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer after her abdominal surgery.

Calling her cancer diagnosis a huge shock, Kate said in a video message, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous.''

''The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
