Ashwin again. A leg slip and silly point in place. A touch short, Hasan looks to punch off the backfoot and is beaten on the outside edge. WICKET!! Hasan looks to hoick one across the line, completely misses it.

Mominul in at 4. First one bounces off the pitch. Rohit jumps forward and catches it after it ricochets off Pant. Intense discussion for a review but they opt not to take it.

Akash Deep continues. Length ball on off stump, doesn’t bounce as much as Shadman expects, manages to keep it out. Another one angled in, gets the inside edge and trickles back to the keeper. Dropped!! Rahul spurns a chance in the slips. Thick edge as he looked to defend the length ball. Appeal for lbw but not given onfield.

Ashwin strikes late!

WICKET!! Huge appeal for lbw and the umpire raises his finger this time! Question is if the ball pitched on leg stump or outside. Three reds and Zakir departs.

Clipped away fine by Zakir, Jadeja gives chase and prevents a boundary. Four!! A boundary to close out the over. Bangladesh openers managing to thwart the late evening attack.

Bumrah with his third. Short of a length on off, blocked by Zakir. Extra bounce and beats Zakir’s outside edge by a whisker.

Ashwin darts one in to the pads of Zakir, clips his pads and runs away to the fence. He is beaten all ends up, the ball trickles to the legside. Ashwin in disbelief as to how the ball didnt go on to hit the stumps. Chance again!! Turns and catches Shadman’s edge but falls just short of Rohit at slip.

Bumrah continues. Length ball on the stumps, clipped to deep fine for a single by Shadman. Just the two singles from the over.

Ashwin from the other end. Zakir gets off the mark first ball with a single to mid on. Turn and bounce, Shadman just manages to defend it away. Huge appeals for lbw as Shadman plays down the wrong line. Not given by the umpire onfield. India reviews. Impact was outside off says the ball tracker.

Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan out to navigate a tough passage of play. Bumrah with the new ball. 

Slower yorker to start. Shadman manages to keep it out. Full and wide, left alone by Shadman. Maiden over to start.

WICKET!! Rahul comes down and is beaten on the flight, Litton does the rest. An excellent knock from the right hander and in double quick time too.

Pant hugs Kohli, perhaps to apologise. Kohli twists and flicks it for a FOUR. India brings up 150, and that’s the fastest one too. Next ball, Kohli goes inside out and through the covers for another FOUR. A single to end the over.

Hasan continues. WICKET!! The ball keeps extremely low and rattles the stumps. He falls for 72 off 51 balls. Two wickets so far for Bangladesh and both have been to balls that have kept low. India will be happy looking at that knowing they can skittle out the opposition qiuckly tomorrow. Still some work to be done to get a win out this contest.

Akash Deep continues. Full and wide, left alone by Mominul, dies on the way to the keeper. Back of a length on off stump, defended. Stifled appeals as Momninul looks to pull a shorter one. Rishabh Pant and the bowler were not really interested. Mominul pulls the next ball to the vacant backward square region and picks up three. A bit of extra bounce as Litton looked to defend, bounces up and hits the splice.

Four!! Full and wide, Litton obliges with a drive through cover. Four!! Not quite full as the first one, but Litton caresses this one through the covers too. Four!! Half volley on the pads, Litton flicks his wrists to send it to the boundary through backward square. The last ball kept slightly low, but Litton manages to keep it out.

Four!! A touch too short and slightly wide, Mominul cuts it past point for a boundary. Akash moves over the wicket and bowls one at the stumps, solidly defended. 

Bumrah gets the early breakthrough!

Chance but four!! Inside edge as Mushfiqur is late to bring him bat down, the inside edge misses the stumps and runs away to the boundary. BOWLED!! Angled into the right hander again, Mushfiqur opts to leave and the ball clatters into offstump.
