Lindsay Lohan is a mum! The Parent Trap star revealed via representatives that she has given birth to a son. Per PopSugar’s source, Lindsay delivered “a beautiful, healthy son named Luai” on July 17. “The family is over the moon in love,” said the rep.

The news came just days after the actor gave her followers a peek at her ocean-themed nursery. All ready for its new inhabitant! In a recent interview, Lindsay expanded on the inspiration behind the theme.

“I feel so peaceful by the ocean — I wanted to create a space where my little one and I could share in that feeling,” she said. Regarding the seaside mural, she added, “The planes and the sailboat felt so instantly classic, but the almost-rainbow watercolour effect felt really fresh and unexpected. It warms the space so much and I can’t wait to point out all the cute little elements to my babe.”

As they say, the mother is mothering.

In March 2023, Lindsay announced that she and husband Bader Shammas were expecting, posting a picture of a onesie on Instagram. “We are blessed and excited!” the 37-year-old wrote in the caption. She shared her pregnancy journey with fans and followers, including a serene snap from her poolside babymoon. She really does feel peaceful by the water!

Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas, a financier, began dating in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2021. They wed secretly in 2022. Since going public with her marriage, Lindsay has expressed interest in expanding their family. In an interview with Vogue while promoting her Netflix film Falling for Christmas, Lohan said that she’s already considering which family heirlooms she’d like to pass down to her future children.

“[Shammas] gave me a Cartier bracelet, and it was our first Christmas together, so that was really special to me,” she said. “That will always stay with me and go to my daughter when we have kids.”
